These last two weeks feel like a whole month has gone by! I have had a very eventful month so far and I foresee it continuing on that way for the rest of it.
Let me start with the road trip that wasn’t. I spent almost a whole week planning a spontaneous road trip to Indiana with a couple of friends with the hope that we might see the Northern Lights. Did you read about that? Earlier in the month it was predicted that the lights would possibly be seen as far south as Indiana on one night only and I didn’t want to miss it. I was shockingly surprised to find out that a couple of my friends would be able to make the trek with me, so I began looking for the darkest and best place to see them a mere six hours away. All of this anxious anticipation ended up being for nothing, as the original predication was a long shot and the lights would not be visible after all. But at least I know where to go should this rare occasion ever present itself again, and I am happy to know I have a few ladies who’d be along for the ride!

In the last two weeks I’ve gotten to see some pretty amazing looking stormy skies. The pictures aren’t nearly as spectacular as the real thing. Believe me when I say we’ve had rain all month long!

Not rain clouds, but with the stormy days, we’ve had some pretty nice sunsets as well. Again, much better to see in person. ❤

I have enjoyed some free time for coffee dates with friends, I went blueberry picking one morning, and I did make it to the swimming pool once. Progress is being made out at the property for the future RV campground. I saw a cool looking bug that jumped a lot and made a weird clicking noise. Googled it and it’s called a clicking beetle, how original. Oh, and this month is the month that Stephen and I have been married for 26 years, I’ve had my car for 13, and the boy finished school a month early. Many things to be thankful for in July!

Now the month is about over, and I’m starting to plan what I’ve got going on for August. We have a weekend away coming up, and one more full month of summer. I should figure out what else I want to do before it’s over. Hope you all are enjoying your summer! Leave me a comment and let me know what you’ve been up to. Thanks for reading, as always!
I’ll be back soon. ❤
