Dear Diary 2023: November

Hello! Boy, oh, boy do I have a lot to catch up on. Almost two months of my life has flown by since I last logged on over here. Where to start? Let me go back to November…

The month started off not on the best foot. I foolishly left my back deck umbrella open and it was a windy day. You can guess what happened. The wind caught it and as it took flight, it hit the glass table it was in and the table shattered to a million pieces. I was so upset with myself and bummed about all the perfect weather evenings that would not be spent eating outside. Amazon came to my rescue, and I quickly found a replacement, not glass this time. And I learned to not leave the big umbrella open when we come inside.

Next on the blog worthy list of things that happened in November, we got started working on the future RV park out at the property. The septic tank and all the lines got installed. 1 task out of the 3 main tasks done! It will be great to have it all up and ready for residents by next summer, but we shall see how it goes.

Also in November, my nephew got married. It was a beautiful wedding and I am still a bit in denial of the fact that my nephew is old enough to be married – he is a year younger than the boy. (Oh, yeah, the boy isn’t the boy anymore. Is he?) How has time gone so fast! It blows my mind.

Probably for the first time ever, I don’t have an outfit post wearing the dress and the new shoes, so here is the best I could do.

Our little town got a new restaurant and we tried it out for dinner one night last month. Stephen said it was one of the best steaks he’s ever had! It’s great having another restaurant in this town, especially a good one, so we don’t have to travel to go out and eat. We have since been back a couple of times for brunch, which has also been very good.

Now that I have gotten to the monthly update, my November seemed to have been much more exciting in my head. There was only a few things going on. We didn’t go anywhere last month because vacation was the first week of December, which I will tell you all about next time. Hope you are enjoying all that you are doing, everyone. Take lots of pictures to look back on, because before you know it, another year will have passed. ❤
