I’ve been told I have too many water bottles. Thinking about it, I’d have to agree. At one point, I may have contemplated whether I was a water bottle hoarder. (I then ended up seeing an episode or two of that show Hoarders, and quickly changed my mind about that thought. I’ve never been anywhere near hoarding level with anything.) I do have plenty of water bottles though, and since I can safely say I am not a water bottle hoarder, what’s one more?
I was sent this Liquid Savvy water bottle kit to review, and I will admit I was more excited than I should have been about receiving a water bottle. A good water bottle is hard to come by. If it is plastic, there is the chance that it will be chemical laden (think BPA) and end up leaving your water with that plastic taste or plastic smell. I hate chemicals and that plastic smell! If it is glass, I most assuredly will drop it on the concrete gym floor and have an embarrassing mess to clean up. Or, if it is stainless – the kind I use the most – it will sweat and leave an annoying water ring everywhere it sits. This one from Liquid Savvy left me with not a single water bottle worry.
It is made of professional grade stainless steel and it is one of those double walled, vacuum insulated kinds that are so popular right now. The packaging states that you will “never worry about condensation stains or slippery bottles again.” Also, it says, “The Liquid Savvy sweat-free powder coat finish eliminates condensation entirely!” You know what, it was right. I’ve had not a single drop of condensation on this water bottle and it’s been everywhere with me the last month. Also, it keeps the water inside of it cold, with ice cubes still clanking around at the end of the day. I’ve left it in my car for an hour or so a time or two and it was still cold when I got back to it.
So, yes, this water bottle is everything it claims to be. And the extra bonus, it came with three different styles of lids. I’ve only used one kind, but I really like that there are a few to chose from.
