Hi, all! I counted it up and I have posted 41 times so far this year. 41, so I am not as behind as I thought I was seeing as this last year was probably my quietest year over here. I didn’t even bother to count how many weekly round up posts I’ve done. I probably only documented about half of my life this year, and it was around June that I quit keeping up with my daily journal. I feel like such a failure with that, but I am not going to let it deter me from moving on with next year. It’s about time to start shopping for my 2020 daily journal.
So I looked at the calendar and we are well in to December. How’d that happen? I’ll have to rely on my handy dandy iPhone to catch me up with what has been going on the last couple of weeks. But you want to know what? I just looked at my phone and I haven’t been taking too many pictures either, so I will do the best I can with what I have. And here’s what I’ve been up too lately as seen by my iPhone:
A little bit of rest and relaxation. Ethan caught up on some sleep, as did Yuki, while Stephen enjoyed his down time playing games. Me, I talked Stephen into finally trying to make black and white cookies so I left this scene to go get all the ingredients, and then some, only to find that my local Wal-Mart was totally out of confectioners sugar. I even asked a guy that worked there and he checked the online inventory. So the black and white cookies will have to wait for another day. Til then, how about a black and white dress?
More dress making. It still is the easiest time of the year for me to sew. I have about four dresses to take pictures of and blog about, should you all care to read more about the same things I always make. 🙂
Plenty of driving here and there. That’s a lot of 4’s I see! So I have been to Jackson more in the last couple of weeks than usual: a few nights out with Stephen and a couple of afternoons as well.
There was a beautiful back yard sunset last week that I caught just as I was about to head to the gym. Shortly after this particular day, the clouds showed up and stayed for a few days. Dreary days are nothing new for this time of the year in Tennessee.
Now for this week, so far two days of trying to bottle wine. I got some done on Monday, but the big batch needs a bit more time since I stirred it up Monday and got it all cloudy. Once it settles, I’ll have another, oh, 50 something bottles to add to my collection? It may be my best batch yet!
And I will leave you with my Instagram best 9. Another year of Me-Made favorites! 2019, how’d you slip away so fast?!
