Hello, hello! I am back from the unintended blogging break I didn’t realize I had taken. Why it’s been so hard for me to keep up over here, I don’t know. I currently cannot remember what I did last Monday, at all, so recapping a whole month may be a bit of a challenge. But, I have pictures to help me out, and I do actually remember what my month of April looked like.

First off, April stared with some aches and pains. Actually, this particular achy pain started in January but April is when it became constant. My right wrist / hand hurts. Specifically when I move my thumb and twist my wrist. It fits the description of carpal tunnel, but why I’d get carpel tunnel is strange, I don’t type a lot, but I do use my phone a lot, so perhaps that has something to do with it. Did you ever hear of Atari thumb? Well maybe I have the iPhone version. So, my wrist has been wrapped and I have been trying to spend much less time on my phone. I am giving it until the end of the month before I get it looked at. Thankfully, it doesn’t hurt to type.

I found the buttercup field again this year. Unlike last year, I didn’t even attempt to get any pictures of myself, but the field was still a bit disappointing. The first time I went to have a look, it was not yet fully in bloom, then the second time, the brief cold snap had gotten to it and there was a lot of brown. I did get a few good pictures of the pretty flowers so that made me happy. I will just have to try again next year.
We got to go fishing for the first time since 2016. How had it been that long? We went twice in April and tried to go two other times, but the weather didn’t cooperate. We love fishing!

And an evening out on the lake makes for some great views! Also in April we had a couple of Nashville trips. Mostly for dental appointments, but the great thing about one such trip was that Daisy finally didn’t get car sick for the first time. She did great and I hope it’s the beginning of many more trips like that.

In vineyard news, everything started growing. We got the new vines finally planted, and we added to the bees. There are now two hives and they are both as busy as can be.

I think that about sums it up for April. I am already working on what’s been going on the last few weeks so you all should be reading about my month of May closer to when it actually happens. Take it easy, everyone; I hope you all enjoy your week!

I was wondering what happened to your posts, I blamed it on my mail box though 😃
Always looking forward to them
