Well, I took the jump to upgrade my blog site, and things didn’t go as I planned. Everything has changed and I am basically trying to figure out how to make my blog look like it did before without knowing what I am doing. After a long talk with tech support, I have settled on something for the time being. And that is how my October has started with lots of time on the computer. Let’s get back to September for my monthly recap.

The month started out great, laid back and still very dry in these parts with hardly any rain in the foreseeable future. And about the second week of the month, our muscadine harvest started. We had more purple ones than I thought, and we had an abundance of white ones. We sold to two wineries, and crushed and juiced a lot for ourselves. This year, we had plenty of great help and it made for an easy couple of weeks to get everything pretty much picked. Now I am selling buckets of frozen juice concentrate and doing alright with getting rid of that.

In addition to muscadine farmer, I was also an airport drop off and pick up driver the month of September. I made not one, but five trips to the surrounding airports. I am basically an airport Uber driver now! 😀

The day we got done picking, the rain showed up and the grass got green again. Perfect timing! The weather has finally cooled to it’s fall like temps, and I’m a week away from our yearly October vacation. I cannot wait! And I am positive we won’t have to worry about any hurricanes this time.

I may be procrastinating on getting the house cleaned up before we go, but messing around with the blog is what has been occupying my time this week.
I was a little worried I’d have all this to say about September, but actually, it was a pretty basic month to write about. That really is all I have to say for now. I’ve done my monthly check in and I’m off to look over old posts and make sure they are formatted correctly.
Thanks for reading, as always!
