I had every intention to get a shoe save post up last week, but before I knew it, it was Friday, and I was writing about going to Memphis instead. So today, Monday, here are the shoes I have worn and saved lately:
These velvety maroon, or burgundy, mary janes are save number 7. They have been worn several times since I have started this year’s shoe challenge, but they either didn’t get an official photo/post, or they didn’t get worn much farther than the backyard because they are velvety and it was wet out. But this last week, I got them worn, photographed and officially saved.

These oxford Doc Marten’s also got saved and are pair number 8. We had a friendly cookout, and they were my shoes of choice for such a wonderful afternoon.
Shirt and Skirt – thrifted || Shoes – Doc Martens
And the good ole, everyday pair of very worn Doc Marten, mary janes are this week’s save number 9. These are on the top of my to be replaced list. I wear them everywhere, and they are kind of misshapen on one of the straps. I think they make my foot look weird, but with jeans, you can’t tell as much.
Three more are out of the way, and with some cool weather ahead, I can’t wait for boot season! If you are interested in seeing or reading more about this Shoe Challenge, shoeperwoman.com has all of the details.
