It’s been quiet around my part of the internet these days.  Sometimes, I don’t have a whole lot to say.  Lately, you can just picture me sitting at a long fold up plastic table, surrounded by school books, red pens, and lots of papers with my boy sitting opposite me, going over assignments and reading or rereading lessons.  Or, just imagine me lost inside of a small, four-walled room with a washer and dryer and endless loads of laundry.  Piles of which never seem to quit adding up.  It’s like being stuck in a bad dream sometimes.  All that laundry, and all that school work!  And, there’s only so many times I can write about that over and over again, right?

Today, I have a bit of a break from my ever present daily routine though, because it is the first day of our spring break.  It’s 11:30 (ish) in the AM and I’m still in pajamas – what a wonderful feeling!  It’s not like I haven’t been productive though, I have a new dress done just waiting for buttons, and I have a nice long list of things to do this week that doesn’t completely involve red pens and piles of clothes.  I’ll be spending some of my time outdoors, actually, if the weather cooperates.  Although, I haven’t decided if washing windows and re-potting plants is any better than grading papers and doing house work.  It’s a change of scenery at least, and I do enjoy spending time outside when the weather is nice.  Plus, I’m planning on a little bit of me time this week as well:  selfishly sewing while working my way through some of my fabric stash, and getting to be on the computer without feeling guilty of neglecting something important that has to be done.

All I can say right now is that it is going to be a good week!

Don't leave yet! Tell me what you think.
