I can’t get over this material! Not only is it so pretty, but also it drapes well and is so easy to work with. Rayon has never been that nice to me in the past.
If you remember, I told you all I was going to have another dress out of this soon. That soon is now. I haven’t named this one, but I have already tagged it on Instagram with #cottonandsteelcloset. That hashtag might get me a free three yards of Cotton and Steel fabric which, so far, is my most favorite fabric design brand yet. I want to buy almost all their fabric!
Two things about this dress: 1) Paired with this sweater, I think it’s the bluest thing I ever did wear. 2) It has pockets! I said I was gonna have pockets in my next make, and I came through.
I did put them a little lower than I should have, and the dress did come out a little shorter than I would have liked, but for a casual Sunday with the family, it’ll do.
