I’ve finally found my way back to the blog again. I was starting to wonder myself when I’d be back. (I know we are already almost half way through the month and that makes me sad.) So how do I want to go about 2019 over here? I’ve been on a roll keeping a pretty regular account of my weeks: diary style for 2016, 2017, and 2018. I feel like I want to do the same for 2019 – how could I not? – but I suspect as it has been in times past, as my weeks go by they will kind of blend and sound a lot like the weeks before…
Never I mind! I think I will just continue on as I have been, maybe switching formats up a little here and there from diary style, to favorite things, Friday fives, and just photos if need be. But don’t expect that to be all there is. I really, really do have a back log of posts to get up here, and I intend of starting with my final sewing projects from 2018. I have a few things to show and tell in the Me-Made department.
For today, I’m keeping it short and sweet. Just a friendly hello and a few words of what I’ve been up to so far this year. Two main things: dieting, i.e. counting calories, and this last week getting passports taken care of and starting the early stages of planning a trip. So far, so good? The passports are in the mail, and the scale has moved a very small amount in the right direction. I guess I am being a cry baby about the both of these though. The scale doesn’t move fast enough and my passport picture was probably the worst picture of me ever taken. Seriously! Perhaps the two go hand in hand. Any who, moving on…
I’m back at another photo challenge this year. I came in a few pictures short of the last one I did, probably the first every self-imposed challenge I failed, but I have high hopes for this one. I’ve got week one done, so I’ll post it here. (I don’t have any other pictures edited or ready to go with this post right now anyway.) 🙂
Week 1: Storytelling: Self portrait without showing your face.
And that’s all from me for today. Until next time…
