That is right, it is now Wednesday morning and I can’t seem to figure out what happened to Friday – or the last four days, actually. I reminded myself again last night that I never did buy a proper daily journal for the year, so I am stuck with these semi-weekly posts to keep myself updated on life for those times I want to look back and see what I was up to. And what have I been up to the last couple of weeks? Mostly schooling and keeping up with house work, as usual. I’ve gone to bed with a clean kitchen and washed clothes for several weeks – nay, maybe months – now and it is a really nice feeling to wake up to a clean kitchen every morning. I think the only downside pertains to this here blog and my less frequent posts.
Keeping the house clean isn’t all I’ve been doing though, don’t get me wrong. And it’s not like I haven’t been online at all. There’s been plenty of other things that have been keeping me busy, and I’ve done quite a bit of online shopping lately also. Which should I start with first?
Let’s go with the shopping: patterns, shoes, and electronics have all made their way into my life lately. The patterns and the shoes, specifically for me. The electronics, for those others of the family.
The only negative thing I will say was that I forgot to put my FitBit on for the day, and I just know I missed out on thousands of steps walking back and forth for several hours collecting all those cut off vines. But other than that, I have nothing bad to say about how I’ve spent my time lately; and I have very much enjoyed my busy life the last few weeks.
How about you, what has been keeping you busy?

Hi Erika looking forward to seeing which dress you get made first. 😍 I like all 3 patterns. Have you decided which one you want to make first? 🤓

I am in love with those patterns, 8476 in particular! I’ve been tying to work through some stuff to get to the Monthly Stitch Challenge as well…I remain hopeful, haha. Best of luck to you 🙂

Thank you! I am still remaining hopeful myself, but every day that passes with my sewing machine still stored away is a day closer to not having something made. We still have about ten months left of the year, maybe we will get there one month… 🙂
