No outfits or sewing posts today, I am afraid, but I do have some pictures from yesterday to post instead. I have to say, I wasn’t feeling 100% on Sunday. I woke up feeling kind of blah. Stuffy head and a little congestion, but I think being outside did me some good. It was sunny and warm and boy did that sun feel good.
My guy and I helped prune out in the vineyard, and with our help, all the rows are done and all we have to do now is wait for the leaves to come in. I can’t believe how much growth there was on all those vines. Here are a few before and after pics just to show the tangled mess of what we were dealing with.

A few hours later, we were finished so we took a little walk around and I took a few pics of what I saw. Not a lot going on this time of the year, but it is always nice to see how things change as the seasons do. This first pic was actually from last Thursday and I forgot I had it. I found it on one of the vines and I am pretty sure it is a praying mantis cocoon. Those are the good guys, so I didn’t smash it as was my initial thought.
That last one looks like something you wouldn’t want to grab on to or brush up against. I believe it is called a Devil’s Walking Stick thanks to a post I had of it while it was in bloom. I asked Facebook and that was my answer.
It won’t be long before we start seeing a whole lot of green out there, and the John Deere tractor won’t count as the green we see then.
