Flowers for Friday

I guess I just can’t get enough of blogging these last few weeks!  Here I am, again, with another post.  Some people do a post a day, so compared to them, I am lacking it would seem.  But for me, I am doing quite well – my goal is a post a week.  I think once the excitement of having a new project wears off, I will slow down some.  I am just having fun messing around on here and also to finally have some extra time for this is great!

However, today wasn’t just spent in front of the computer, I made it out to the nursery and finally got that bale of potting soil that I have been patiently waiting for.  While I was there, I found some plants on sale so I had to get them also.  This gave me the excuse to get in the yard and do some work.  It was already midday at this point so my time outside was limited.  With not a lot of shade and skin prone to sunburn, I went to the garage and put the plants I got in pots, and replanted some others.   I still have to get my small garden in the ground, but as far as gardening goals go, I am doing very well this year!

I also thought I found a snake today in an empty pot that has been on the deck.  He was very small (I thought it was a worm that looked scaly) and I didn’t want to disturb it, so I left it alone until my guy gets home.  Then just a bit ago, the boy went to check on it and found that it wasn’t a snake but a lizard!

I wanted to get a picture of the snake lizard, but he wouldn’t stay still.  So I only have a post with pictures of flowers for today, and I have a post for Friday on Thursday!
