I treated today like Friday. I had so much to do around my house it just couldn’t wait until tomorrow. By doing this, hopefully, tomorrow will find me taking it slow and enjoying some time away from all of the things I would normally be doing on a usual Friday.
Maybe it was because of the time change, but this week seemed extra busy and non-stop for me. As far as my photo-a-day challenge, this was the week I failed. I have one blank square for my month of March, it was last Saturday, and when I realized I hadn’t taken a pic it was 12:30 AM Sunday, there was no natural light, and the only thing to photograph was the dog laying on the floor in front of me, or the glowing Ipad screen. 48 days and 47 pictures.
The week did go well, as busy as it was; I got things planted last Sunday, like I wanted, but not the elderberries, like I wanted. The rain showed up a little sooner than I had hoped. I planted bulbs and then re-potted a few plants before it got here so it was a start.
It rained so much through the night, that Monday morning the boy had to show me this:
UGH! I have never seen so many earthworms in one place. It was truly disgusting. I saw a bunch the night before stretched out on the threshold of the garage and I almost thought they were snakes, they were that long! I didn’t expect that the boy would gather them all up to show me the next morning. I guess there’s good dirt in the yard. Too bad we weren’t planning to fish that day, we would have been all set! They were put back into the dirt once the boy got done grossing me out.
The rest of the week was spent in front of school books, and the last of the papers that needed to be graded. Also the stacks of laundry making their home in the corner of my room got taken care of. And then, I finally got to my severely neglected car. It was embarrassing how dirty I let her get. It will probably rain right once we leave the garage tomorrow morning, that’s what usually happens when you wash a car, right? Or is it just me this happens to?
Readers, I hope you enjoy your weekend!

I guess the good thing is it has helped me get over disliking bugs and creepy crawlies as much. I have to be a good example for the boy!
