It was another weekend at the lake for me, and like every other time at the lake, it was a lot of fun! We have planned these days well this season; the perfect combination of cloudy skies, a little bit of wind and a just the right amount of heat. It wasn’t too hot which made for a fun, sunburn-free day. I do hate coming home red! (It also seems I am tanning well this year.)
What else happened this weekend? I got a chance to work on a blog logo. I really like it, but I can’t work it into a blog header. I am, once again, frustrated with my lack of creativity when it comes to things like this. It is just a logo, so it doesn’t really have to fit the header, but I am also tired of the current picture that I have as a header. A silly dilemma, I know. So don’t be surprised if you see things a bit differently around here. I am messing with some settings and trying some new themes, backgrounds, etc. I hope I find something I like soon, but more than likely, it will go back to the same as it was when all is said and done. Sometimes there are just too many choices!
I did have a reason for a logo though, I have recently gotten the opportunity to become a blog partner with a fashion-related website. I was contacted a few months ago and things are moving along quite well. I am becoming the fashion blogger I always wanted to be! It is exciting and I am happy for the new opportunities. I have a few things coming my way that I am very much looking forward to. In the mean time, it is also getting close to the end of the month and that means time to start thinking of a new dress to make. I have one that I started a couple of years ago, I don’t know If I should go with that or start on something else? I also have three more weeks of free time before my busy school schedule begins and my extra free time ceases. So many weeds still need to be pulled and there is a garage that still needs to be cleaned…
