Dressember Day 1: Am I Really up for a Post a Day?

I thought I was gonna try this post a day thing along with this dress a day thing, but then asked myself if I was really up for a post a day.  But more than a post a day, I should maybe have been asking myself if I am up for another photo a day, and especially since this photo a day will be of myself?  I don’t think I have recovered from Skirtember!  That is always the hardest thing to do when it comes to these daily outfit challenges, take a picture of myself EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

I am always asking one of the other two in this house, “Take a picture of me!  Make sure I don’t look weird in it, okay?  And it would be nice if you kind of took it at an angle that makes me look better than I do right now.  Take at least ten of them because I am sure only none are gonna come out, alright?!” 

And the one who usually ends up taking my pictures for these daily outfit posts is the boy, and when I get inside the house to put them on the computer, I find out that he just likes to keep pushing the button over and over again, whether I am ready or not.  I then have way more photos of me moving in some strange way, making a weird face, or in mid-sentence, than I have of a suitable picture to post on this here blog.  Either that or they are out of focus and some may even look like this:

I know I’ve shown this one before, but there are lots of pictures I find that look similar to this!

I could set my gorilla pod up, which I occasionally do, get out the point and shoot, and take them myself, but then the problem is that I am again out of focus, and/or I look like this:

Maybe this way isn’t that bad.  At least I don’t have to worry about what kind of face I am making.

I also realized a few months back that I have a pretty nice looking backdrop for pictures in my own backyard, but right now, it looks like this:

So, despite these minor issues, I know I can do a photo a day, of myself, but the post a day is not gonna happen.  I will stick to the weekly-roundup type post that I have already done a few times before.  And for this month, my Dressember posts will be on Mondays, starting next week.  I will go ahead and put up what I am wearing today for the 1st of Dressember:

And let me just say, of course the dog had to photo bomb the very first picture I ended up taking with the self timer!  It just fits today’s topic so well, I had to keep it.
