A couple of days late, but what else is new, right? I do think this is the most consistently I have posted these ‘Friday’ posts though. It’s always better late than never, isn’t it? How has everyone been? Me, I finally climbed out of that hole of sickness this last week. And again, it wasn’t so much that I felt terrible just exhausted, and I knew I was probably contagious so I felt a little bad if I were to go out and contaminate the public. I’m all better now, only a lingering cough, but that isn’t too uncommon after having been sick for a week.
Right now, I am feeling quite well, ecstatic actually. In my down time this last week I’d been sewing for my Etsy shop, and yesterday was the day I posted a couple of listings. I had really wanted to have posted four, but two was all I had ready. Any who, within a couple of hours of posting, one item sold. I can’t believe it. Not that I didn’t expect anything to sell ever, it’s just that I figured I had some more work to do to get my name out there, and that still might be the case, but I’ve made my very first Etsy sale nonetheless. Happy is an understatement! I’ve already got it packaged up and ready to ship first thing in the morning. Woo hoo!
Aside from that, my week wasn’t too eventful, as usual. It was back to school from the week off and that took a good amount of my time. Also there was house cleaning that needed catching up on from the week before. Oh, and in case anyone wondered, the cat from last week is still around. She has a name now, Stella, and she will be making a trip to the vet soon to get spayed. I barely want a cat that lives on the front porch let alone kittens that would live on the front porch. She is pretty, and the boy has really taken to her, but I am still at the point that I would be okay if she suddenly remembered where she came from and went back ‘home’. My boy wouldn’t like that though.
And that is all I really have to say for now. I’m off to grade papers, sew, and then clean my kitchen. I expect to have some more posts coming up this week so stop back by. As busy as I get, I won’t be leaving the blogosphere anytime soon. 🙂

I really did love my cats, Kathy. But once we moved and were introduced to the tick and flea infested land of Tennessee, I thought I could never have cats again. (Zerah and Mesha never did make it to TN, by the way. 😦 ) I did give her a of couple pets, for the first time this week, and Yuki doesn’t like the cat. She acts like she’s never seen a cat every time she looks out the front door and sees her.
